Preventing Hair Loss

 

Many people look for ways to cure or treat hair loss, how about a way to at least slow and prevent hair loss?

These days more and more people just let their hair go beyond repair. Acting on the issue of hair loss before it becomes a problem might prevent frustration.

 

Regardless of the cause, hair loss can be reduced by:

-Not overusing hair dye, hairdryers, or curling irons

-If you do color your hair on a regular basis, leave a 6-8 week gap in between each session

-Avoiding tight hairstyles (braids, buns, and ponytails) which can lead to hair loss

-A diet rich in protein and calcium will help to strengthen the hair follicles and prevent hair loss

-Irregular sleeping patterns, and not sleeping enough, can lead to hair loss

-Harsh shampoos, conditioners, and styling products can affect the healthy hair growth, when possible, use products with organic or herbal ingredients

By cutting back on some of these it may be possible to slow down the hair loss process. However, hair loss may be caused by a medical condition such as Alopecia and so it is recommended that all people experiencing severe or sudden hair loss consult a hair transplant surgeon as soon as possible.
