Prevent Hair Loss

Many people look for ways to cure or treat hair loss, how about a way to at least slow hair loss?

 

These days more and more people just let things go beyond repair. Acting on the issue before it becomes a problem might prevent frustration.

 

Regardless of the cause, hair loss can be prevented, and here are some suggestions:

  • Do not overuse hair dye, hairdryers, or curling irons
  • If you do color your hair on a regular basis, leave a 6-8 week gap in between each session
  • Tight hairstyles (braids, buns, and ponytails) can lead to hair loss
  • A diet rich in protein and calcium will help to strengthen the hair follicles and prevent hair loss
  • Irregular sleeping patterns, and not sleeping enough, can lead to hair loss
  • Harsh shampoos, conditioners, and styling products can affect the healthy growth of hair, when possible, use products with organic or herbal ingredients
