Do I need to take medication after my hair transplant surgery?

Although medicine, is not necessary after your hair restoration procedure, it is recommended. Most hair transplant surgeons recommend the use of antibiotics before and after surgery to prevent any possible infections. While it is no common, it is best to take all precautions.

Also, some doctors may prescribe medicine for hair loss just to prevent any DHT susceptible hair from continuing to fall out. This can help make the hair follicles stronger and keep as much of the native hair as possible. It is important to not only replace lost hair but also save what is left.
